About Us
Get Energy is a family owned and operated Alberta energy retailer, founded in 2014 in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo as an Energy Marketer with Utility Network & Partners, Inc.We supply electricity and natural gas to residential, farm and commercial customers across Alberta, with competitive rates that save most customers well below Alberta's Rate of Last Resort. Our Rate Rewind program lets customers move to a better rate as the market changes, so nobody gets stuck on the wrong plan.Through Get WiFi we also provide fibre and cable internet, home phone and business phone service in Fort McMurray and surrounding communities, so local homes and businesses can keep their energy and connectivity with one local provider.We are proud to be part of this community: 10% of our annual profits are donated to local charities right here in the RMWB. Energy may be a commodity, but our mission is simple - treat every customer fairly, keep them well informed, and deliver more than just great rates.
