Founder Troy Palmer spent 23 years with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, from firefighter and EMT to Captain, Assistant Deputy Chief of Training and Program Manager, HR & Safety, with front-line and emergency operations roles in the 2016 wildfire and 2020 flood. He has led as an elected union vice-president and as an appointed exempt manager, is the author of Eight Dimensions of Leadership Excellence, and speaks on leadership and safety culture.
