About Us
The Alberta Residential Landlord Association (ARLA) is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the residential rental housing industry across Alberta. Founded in 1994, ARLA works to educate, unite, and advocate for professional landlords, property managers, and service providers involved in the residential rental sector.
Through educational seminars, webinars, networking events, and industry resources, ARLA helps members stay informed about legislative changes, market trends, and best practices related to Alberta’s residential rental industry. The association also provides standardized landlord forms, professional development opportunities, and access to industry experts to support effective property management and compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act.
Representing tens of thousands of rental units and property owners, ARLA serves as a collective voice for the residential rental community, working with municipal, provincial, and federal governments to advocate for policies that support a healthy and sustainable rental housing sector.
