Join us for a special Meet & Greet Open House event at the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce on August 14th, 2024! This drop-in event is designed to welcome both current members and prospective members to learn more about the Chamber and the many benefits of membership. Why Attend? Member Mixer Featuring Trav Triv - The Yellow Brick Road Team Challenge Chamber Mixer
Get Ready for a Thrilling Challenge! Member Mixer Featuring Trav Triv - The Yellow Brick Road Team Challenge The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce invites you to a unique and exciting Member Mixer event! This time, the Emerald City is in peril, held captive by the Flying Monkeys, and it's up to you to save it! What to Expect: Teams of 4 or 5 will embark on a fun-filled adventure through downtown businesses as you follow the yellow brick road. Along the way, you'll encounter challenges, pitfalls, and bonus rewards. Each business you visit will have a scorable challenge?ranging from cornhole to a dance-off?designed to test your teamwork and competitive spirit. Details: Date: September 10th Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm Starting Location: Fair and Square Printing (Teams will arrive between 5:00pm and 5:30pm; the game begins at 5:30pm sharp.) Participating Businesses: Avenue Coffee, True North Mechanical, Fair and Square Printing, Club Rewind, Thrifty Duchess Event Highlights: Trav Triv App: Download the app before the event (https://travtriv.ca/) to track your progress, collect special promotions, and score points. Refreshments: Water and snacks provided along the way. Enjoy a complimentary drink at Club Rewind to close out the evening. Final Gathering: Wrap up the mixer with a final challenge, score tallying, and a bartender on hand at Club Rewind. Special Promotions: Each business will offer unique promotions to participants, stored in your app passport for later use. Important Information: No Team? No Problem! If you don?t have a full team or are coming with just one or two teammates, we'll assign you to a team at registration. Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older. Proximity: All participating businesses are within a 2-minute walking distance of each other. This is an excellent opportunity to network, have fun, and support local businesses.
