ATC CAREER FAIR EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING
We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming ATC Career Fair, where we are dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity. This career fair, scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2024, at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre, promises to be a dynamic platform for networking, collaboration, and showcasing your remarkable enterprises to job seekers from all walks of life. By joining us as exhibitors, you can connect with two diverse groups of job seekers. March 5th is devoted to high school and college students. Tailor your talking points to inspiring and recruiting your near-future employees. On March 6th, the ATC Career Fair is open to the public, allowing you to connect with your next hire! ATC aims to foster meaningful conversations, facilitate partnerships, and empower Indigenous people and all job seekers to thrive. As an exhibitor, you will have a dedicated booth to showcase your products, services, and success stories. Additionally, we are organizing panel discussions, motivational keynote speakers, and networking sessions tailored to the needs and aspirations of connecting Indigenous and non-Indigenous employees and employers, helping you expand your reach and impact in the workforce. Join us in creating a vibrant and inclusive business ecosystem that celebrates the resilience and innovation of Indigenous communities. The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce has been working with the municipality and the RCMP on measures and opportunities for collaboration to reduce business related crime. Please join us for presentations and follow-up discussions on the way forward.
FMSPCA Locked in a Kennel 2024
FMSPCA Locked in a Kennel 2024 This event is open to businesses and residents in the RMWB. Last year, we were able to successfully raise over $46,000 for the animals in our care. The event is being held on March 16th. Participants can start fundraising prior to the event, or the day of. You would choose a rep and can share with your customers, supporters, or coworkers to help raise your impound fee. Most people don't know that the FMSPCA receives no financial support provincially or federally. We rely heavily on donors and fundraisers such as these to ensure we're sustainable. Can we count on you to join us to help us raise funds for this region's only animal shelter? Thank you for lending a paw!
