As with many members of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, Syncrude has experienced economic challenges in recent years. At the same time, Syncrude believes its long-term success is closely tied to the success of Fort McMurray, and so remains strongly committed to local hiring, procurement and community development. Hear Syncrude Managing Director Doreen Cole discuss how her company’s journey toward the future means finding new ways to work with local businesses and residents to create and share opportunity.
We'll also hear from Tany Yao, MLA of Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo, who will be providing opening remarks, and shedding light on three of the top economic highlights for the year.
