DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Treaty Days with Fort McKay First Nation! Friday June 22nd join us for a number of traditional events throughout the day kicking off with our main parade and kid's bike parade\, continuing on with our very popular corporate tug-of-war\, Dene Hand games\, a cultural village\, kid activities + bouncy castles\, face painting\, Fort McKay Idol\, the grand opening of the Continuing Care Facility and much more! We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting a special concert with George Canyon! Saturday June 23rd join us as we host a Traditional one-day Powwow which will begin with a traditional ceremony of the pipe\, a Grand Entry with all different styles of Powwow dancers\, specials such as Hoop dance\, Iron Man/Woman and drum contests. Fort McKay Treaty Days will then end with a bang with our grand finale fireworks show which lights up the sky above the Athabasca River.
