Economic Update Recap: March 6th Networking Luncheon with Dominick Hardy

We are excited to recap the recent event hosted by the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce on March 6th, 2024. The luncheon, presented by RBC, featured an enlightening Economic Update by Dominick Hardy, Senior Portfolio Manager and VP of Canadian Equity Strategies.

Dominick Hardy, a distinguished professional with an impressive background, shared his expertise on various aspects of the economy, ranging from interest rates and inflation to recession concerns impacting the global economy. With his extensive experience in audit, corporate banking, and investment banking, Dominick provided valuable insights into the Canadian and Albertan sectors, focusing on areas such as Canadian Equity Income Guided Portfolio, Canadian Focus List, and Yield Insight & Opportunities.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage with Dominick directly, asking questions and gaining valuable insights into how future economic trends might affect their businesses. The event covered a wide range of topics, including provincial and global economic outlooks, tactics to mitigate recession fears, and predictions for consumer demand and consumption in 2024.

For those who missed the luncheon or wish to revisit the valuable information shared by Dominick Hardy, we have attached the Economic Update for your reference.
