The Voice of Business In Action

Business Crime Reduction Recap:

Loss Prevention Meeting with RCMP

The organizers express sincere gratitude to all those who braved the challenging weather conditions earlier this week to participate in the event. The dedication and commitment shown by each attendee towards enhancing the safety of our business community are truly commendable.

In line with the discussions held, the attached Business Crime Prevention Kit has been included with this newsletter. This comprehensive resource aims to provide guidance on proactive measures to bolster the security of your businesses. We trust that you will find it both informative and practical for your specific needs.

Although the session with the RCMP did not cover all anticipated topics, rest assured that ongoing efforts to secure pertinent information and support will persist. The RCMP remains committed to this collaboration.

For the businesses present at the gathering, your contact numbers will be added to our WhatsApp group. This platform will serve as a valuable tool for efficient information sharing.

As weather conditions improve, plans are underway for a follow-up session in collaboration. This will present an opportunity to receive updates from the RCMP, address any emerging concerns, and field questions from the community.

Your active involvement and feedback are crucial to the success of our collective efforts in crime prevention.

Former Chamber Employee In Need

As many of you may already know, our former Trade Show Manager, Denise Barrow, has been battling pulmonary fibrosis for some time now. Unfortunately, the challenges for the Barrow family have intensified as they are now facing additional illnesses and struggles.

The Barrow family has been an integral part of our community, and Denise has made significant contributions within the Chamber of Commerce. In light of these difficult circumstances, we want to extend our support. We encourage our members to spread the word and contribute in any way possible to assist the Barrow family during this challenging time.
