Community Safety Update: Strengthening Our Bonds Against Crime

Mark your calendars for a follow-up session on loss prevention strategies with the RCMP, scheduled for January 15th (details below).

To enhance communication channels, an exclusive WhatsApp group has been established for participating businesses. This platform will facilitate the sharing of security-related intelligence, including snapshots of suspicious activities and updates on offenses.

Businesses interested in joining are encouraged to confirm their participation by reaching out to Dianna de Sousa via email or saving the provided number 250-893-1699. It's essential to emphasize that this chat is a supplementary measure and not a substitute for reporting incidents directly to the RCMP.

For further inquiries or support, business community members are invited to reach out via email, mobile, or through our advocacy page form.

The proactive engagement of all participants is sincerely appreciated, and together, we can make a meaningful impact on crime reduction within our community.

Your Voice Matters to Us

At the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, advocacy is at the heart of our mission. As the unified voice of business, we tirelessly represent your interests on the issues that impact our vibrant business community.

Whether you need support, have concerns, or wish to contribute to our advocacy efforts, we invite you to reach out through our advocacy page submission.

Alternatively, you can connect directly with our dedicated Executive Director, Dianna De Sousa, at ed@fortmcmurraychamber.ca.

Our Business Advocacy Committee plays a crucial role in engaging with all levels of government to influence policies, regulations, and decisions that foster a favorable business environment for success and growth in the Wood Buffalo region.

Your insights are invaluable, and we encourage you to share any issues or barriers affecting businesses in our region, be they municipal, provincial, or federal. Together, we can shape a thriving business landscape.
